The Time-to-Hire and Time-to-Fill report is here to help you understand how long it takes for your team to decide which candidate to hire. These are important hiring metrics that display how quickly you can hire someone.

To begin, you can pick a specific date range, allowing you to zero in on exactly when you want, perfect for retrospective reporting. You'll also be able to view the data for all jobs, or a particular job.

The Time-to-Fill is how long it takes your team to fill a position, from when the job becomes active until you send the offer letter.

The Time-to-Hire number is how long it takes your team to hire a person, from the time you first contacted them.

For example: You activate a job on May 1st and you send a letter of offer to a candidate on May 31st. Your Time-to-Fill is 30 days. For that same job, the candidate that you sent the letter of offer to - you first contacted them on May 11th. Your Time-to-Hire is 20 days.

With the date range set and the job selected, at the bottom of the report, you can see:

  • Job: The job that was filled

  • The location of the position: The city in which the person was hired

  • When it was opened: The date that the job was activated, which starts the timer

  • Who the successful candidate was: The name of your hire

  • Time-to-Fill: The time it took to fill that job

  • Time-to-Hire: The time it took to hire that person for that job

Note: if the numbers seem a little off, please double check your date and job selection. These numbers come from your hiring pipeline, so please ensure that you are moving candidates to the offer category when you send them the offer for accurate results.
